    Description
    Business Development Manager / Sales Manager / Technical Sales Manager is required to join a manufacturer and systems integrator within Industrial Automation.

    Business Development Manager / Sales Manager / Technical Sales Manager will be responsible for new business development across the UK, focusing on industrial automation machinery such as conveyor systems, robotics and automated solutions.

    Business Development Manager / Sales Manager / Technical Sales Manager will ideally be located within the counties of Warwickshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Derbyshire, West Yorkshire, Worcestershire, Staffordshire and Nottinghamshire with weekly travel to the head office in Nottingham.

    Paying £55k - £75k depending on experience

    Role
    • Proven track record in sales within the materials handling industry such as conveyors, robot palletising systems, parcel handling and bespoke machinery.
    • Experience in lead generation, demonstrating the ability to identify and capitalise on new business prospects.
    • Strong knowledge of automated solutions, enabling effective communication and consultation with clients.
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, essential for building and maintaining client relationships.
    • Self-motivated and target-driven, with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales goals.
    • Identifying and acquiring new market potential
    • Handling customer inquiries and preparing quotations, sales and completion contracts.
    • Preparing weekly calls and visit reports to new and existing customers.
    • Will be covering the counties of Warwickshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Derbyshire, West Yorkshire, Worcestershire, Staffordshire and Nottinghamshire with weekly travel to the head office in Nottingham.
    Requirements
    • Experience as a Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / Technical Sales Engineer
    • Previous to have experience selling machinery such as conveyors, robot palletising systems, parcel handling and bespoke machinery.
    • Ideally will have a HND / HNC in Engineering or relevant experience
    • Full UK Driving License
    • Willingness to travel across the counties of Warwickshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Derbyshire, West Yorkshire, Worcestershire, Staffordshire and Nottinghamshire with weekly travel to the head office in Nottingham.
