    Registered Nurse - Care Home

    Location: Rugeley, Staffordshire

    Position Type: Full-Time, Permanent

    Salary: £20-£23 ph

    Job Description:

    We are currently partnering with a care provider based in Rugeley, Staffordshire who are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join their clinical team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality nursing care to elderly residents with a focus on dementia care. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our residents.

    Key Responsibilities as a Registered Nurse:

    • Provide attentive and compassionate nursing care to elderly residents with dementia and other age-related needs.
    • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans tailored to each resident's unique requirements.
    • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
    • Monitor residents' health status and promptly respond to any changes or concerns.
    • Collaborate with family members and caregivers to ensure continuity of care and address any concerns or questions.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of residents' health records and care plans.
    • Foster a supportive and nurturing environment that promotes residents' dignity, independence, and quality of life.
    Requirements:
    • Valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) as a Registered Nurse (RN).
    • Previous experience in elderly care, particularly dementia care, is highly desirable.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize and build rapport with elderly residents and their families.
    • Strong clinical skills and the ability to effectively assess, plan, and implement nursing care interventions.
    • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
    • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
    • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
