    Distillery Manager Salary:
    £52,000.Burnbrae Distillery Company Limited is a privately owned and operated distillery, proudly expanding upon the legacy of the J.Distillers Group, comprising on site maturation, blending and bottling Scotch Whisky for export in over 70 global markets operating from a 160,000 sq. ft facility nestled on 12.Our unwavering passion drives every aspect of our craft with a commitment to sourcing the finest malt and grain Scotch Whisky.

    It is an invitation to nurture an operational culture within the facility, mentor new staff members, and spearhead excellence in production.

    Supporting the delivery of our long-term strategy by developing people, plant, safety and equipment. Take part in plant set-up and commissioning.

    • Ensure compliance with internal standards for health and safety, environment and quality.
    • Ensure compliance with external stakeholders and, if possible, have experience in dealing with all internal and external regulatory control bodies.
    • Deliver distillery and business objectives aligned to key performance indicators.
    • Implement and manage various projects within distillery operations with a clear structure, change control and communication with all involved.
    • Ensure high housekeeping standards are achieved and maintained.
    • Maintain compliance with HMRC requirements, quality, health and safety, environmental, energy management, time management.
    • Relevant experience within distilling environment, preferably with commissioning experience. Other manufacturing processes will be welcome.
    • Must have relevant qualification within Production/Chemical Engineering, Distilling or Brewing with relevant experience within a Malt Whisky Distillery.
    • Able to analyse production data.
    • Able to communicate effectively within and outwith business boundaries, including suppliers, contractors, customers and regulatory authorities using appropriate methods.
    • Have an excellent knowledge of distillery production techniques.
    • Have a comprehensive awareness of business compliance requirements for HMRC, Quality, Health and Safety, Environmental, Energy Management, Time management and Training scheduling and management.
    • Have a high level of awareness of legislation and company requirements on issues affected by production operations.
