We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our multidisciplinary Team within the Occupational Health & Wellbeing Service at Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust.
We have secured a new operational service based at Winwick, Warrington and satellite units in Netherton / Knowsley areas of Liverpool to support delivery of the service across the Trust footprint.
We are looking for enthusiastic and experienced MSK Physiotherapists with a special interest relating to the impact of work on health and vice versa.
The role involves delivering MSK preventative workshops on a range of MSK issues, supporting colleagues remain in work, clinical assessment and treatment, sickness absence management and advice reports to managers/HR, functional capacity assessments in relation to fitness for role, new employee health assessments.

In addition to providing physio to the Trust employees, you will be required to provide an expert and reliable Occupational Health Service to other paying private organisations, including other NHS employers and private companies/businesses.
The service uses Civica Occupational Health (OPAS-G2) software which supports all clinical functions.Degree in Physiotherapy/BSc (PT) or equivalent
Health Professions Council registered
Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy
Student Educator/supervisor
A demonstrable understanding of clinical governance and Equality and Human Rights and legal policies in relation to occupational health.
Understanding of clinical governance and its implications for services, including experience of quality issues and auditKnowledge of the psychological issues of rehabilitation e.g., Evidence in CPD of experience relevant to occupational health field or special interest groups e.g.

Specialist postgraduate study
Knowledge of field of Occupational Health
Ability to plan, implement and evaluate a physiotherapy treatment programme, using outcome measures and audit effectively.
Ability to comprehend and work within the Trust's policies of data protection, equal opportunities and health and safety and meet the differing needs of the patients
Computer literate.
