Description


We are looking for an experienced Billing Coordinator to join the team and play a key role in ensuring a seamless client relationship, bridging in building service with efficient, effective administration as well as ensuring revenue is correct for month end reporting.

This role will see you take ownership in ensuring that clients are billed according to agreement and changes are reflected in the billing system.


Requirements:

Key Responsibilities


Invoicing clients for both fixed charges e.g license fees (rent) monthly as well as ad hoc charges e.g service fee charges, making sure billing is accurate and everything is raised as per the signed contracts.

Handling any finance related queries in a timely and efficient manner, providing great customer service.
Maintenance of billing schedules, reconciling vs. billing systems and querying any anomalies with relevant sales or ops staff.
Building relationships with clients, building teams and sales to ensure the best possible approach both internal and external.
Assisting the management accountants and financial reporting team with any revenue or occupancy related questions.
Reviewing direct debit proposals, ensuring any changes are communicated to the Billing Manager.
Escalating any problematic areas to the Billing Manager, including problematic reconciliations or issues with clients.
Processing customer terminations and preparation of deposit returns, ensuring any overdue monies are offset against the return.
Ad hoc requests to support the Billing Manager as required.

Qualifications/Skills

Previous experience in a similar role is essential
3 years or more Accounts Receivable/Billing experience
Previous experience in a volume driven receivables function
Advanced MS Office skills, particularly Excel
Knowledge of SAP Business ByDesign and Salesforce (desirable)
Commercial acumen and be capable of thinking in big picture terms not just the detail
Experience in implementing and monitoring of controls
Experience of working in large multi-site organisations - property sector is preferable
