BDS are currently recruiting for a Senior Planning Officer to work within a busy local authority based in Crawley.

The main purpose of the role is to contribute to the effective and successful day to day running of the Development Management team.

Main duties include but are not limited too;

Attend Planning Committee when requested and to prepare / present to a good standard detailed reports and recommendations as directed
Prepare written representations on proofs of evidence for appeals and, if required, to attend and give evidence at hearings and public inquiries as the Council's expert

This is a full time role for 37 hours per week to work hybrid between the Crawley Office base.

This is a 6 month contract with a chance of extension following this

Pay rate; £41,604 to £44,804 per annum

Hours; Can offer from hours per week, Monday
