Assistant Buyer | Hybrid | £14.50 per hour | 3 Months Contract

Client:

Castlefield Recruitment are currently working exclusively with a leading national Public sector organisation, to recruit an Assistant Buyer.

This organisation is a great place to work and you will be reporting directly to a highly experienced Category Manager.

This organisation operates a hybrid working policy, with on-site requirement in Sheffield once per week.


This position would suit an individual with strong data analytical skills, an eagerness to learn and develop and ideally 2-3 years' experience of working with Excel.


Role:


  • Liaise with internal customers, external suppliers, and contractors, obtaining maximum possible benefits from expenditure against goods and services
  • Manage queries from suppliers and escalate any issues with Category Managers
  • Input data onto spreadsheets
  • Discuss contractual issues with potential suppliers

Person:


  • Strong MS Office skills, including Excel and Word
  • Previous administration experience required
