- be the champion for students with Special Educational Needs, developing and implementing policies and practices for SEN which reflect the school's commitment to high achievement and effective teaching and learning;
- ensure that effective systems are in place to identify, support, monitor, evaluate and review the needs of all students with SEN;
- support all staff in understanding the learning needs of students with SEN and the importance of raising achievement for all students;
