Head of Property Economics
The successful applicant will responsible for day to day team management and growth of our planning economics and development.

This is an area we see as fully aligning with our growing ESG capabilities and we want the right person to drive this forward.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced property economist to work for one of the UK's leading independent property consultancies to build and lead an integral team, fully supported by one of the largest planning teams in the Cambridge-Oxford Arc.

You will responsible for managing a varied and challenging workload including:


  • Undertaking detailed and methodical research of census and mosaic data to support the production of socioeconomic statements for major local and national infrastructure and other major planning projects
  • Carrying out detailed research into sales and property data for both residential and commercial projects to input into viability assessments
  • Measuring architectural floor plans in accordance with the RICS guidelines;
  • Filling out and submitting Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) forms and documents

Who We're Looking For

  • Ambition to grow a service line within a successful planning practice
  • Selfmotivated with an inherent ability to work under varying time pressures and deadlines;
  • A keen eye for detail and meticulous approach to research;
  • A willingness to learn and a desire for knowledge;
  • Good interpersonal and communication (written and oral) skills;
  • Ability to Act as expert witness
