Context - Job Purpose:

Ø The maintenance of a high standard of service to the client

Ø Controlled use of consumables and cleaning materials

Ø Responsible for day to day cleaning at contract level

Ø Regards for safety and welfare of fellow employees, clients and visitors on site


Key Responsibilities:

Ø Removal of refuse, replace waste bin liners, remove refuse to designated area - damp wipe exterior surfaces of waste bins

Ø Spot vacuum/clean all carpet areas

Ø Damp mop hard floor areas

Ø Damp wipe desks, work areas and horizontal surfaces to hand height

Ø Clean toilets, urinals, sinks, showers and toilet partitions

Ø Cleaning of mirrors and internal glasswork (door vision panels)

Ø Replenishing all supplies

Ø Clean all kitchen surfaces as per contract

Ø High and low level dusting

Ø Spot clean of all paintwork to hand height

Ø Spot clean doors

Ø Damp wipe radiators and pipework

Ø Clean internal/external surfaces of lifts

Ø Polish wood furniture, balustrades and handrails

Ø Report all faults/defects on machinery and equipment to supervisor

Ø Signing in and out when entering or leaving the workplace

Ø Signing for keys as required

Ø Correct use of chemicals, materials and equipment

Ø Use of Personal Protective Equipment and replacement

Ø Check equipment for safety before use

Ø Encourage good customer relations

Ø Promptly deal with any complaints/requests and pass directly to supervisor

Ø Adhere to sire work schedules

Ø Comply with performance measurement criteria

Personal:

Ø Previous cleaning experience useful but not essential as training will be given

Ø Must be able to work on own and as part of a team

Ø Must be able to communicate with team and client customers

Ø It is essential that the post holder knows when it is appropriate to seek advice from their managers/supervisors

Ø The post holder must present a professional image at all times

Ø It is essential that the post holder understands all functions required of him/her


Job Description Changes
Shift from 5:00am until 14:00pm, from Monday to Friday


Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£11.95 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • London, EC1N 2PB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:

- housekeeping: 1 year (preferred)
