Merrifield Consultants are delighted to be partnering with a prominent Medical Membership Organisation to recruit an Education Coordinator.


About the Role:


As an Education Coordinator (Appeals and International), you will play a crucial role in the operational delivery of tasks run by the Medical Membership organisation, with a focus on ensuring effective Appeals and Appeals Review panel processes.

Key responsibilities include acting as the main point of contact for UK Visa and Immigration matters related to Temporary Worker Government Authorised Exchange visas, as well as providing timely information and support to international trainees.

£30,826 per annum plus competitive benefits


Working Hours: 9 am - 5 pm, Monday to Friday


Responsibilities:


  • Coordinate, organise, and prepare Appeals, Appeals Review, and Disciplinary Panel cases.
  • Respond to queries related to UK Visa and Immigration, International Trainees, and all aspects of Panel meetings.
  • Schedule events related to Panel meetings and those for International Trainees.
  • Liaise with external providers, particularly the UK Visa and Immigration, regarding Certificates of Sponsorship.
  • Provide key information to suppliers and ensure appropriate financial arrangements are in place.
  • Maintain accurate and easily accessible records.
  • Utilise the College's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform for data manipulation.
  • Ensure compliance with General Data Protection Regulations.

Skills and Experience Required:


  • Experience in meeting organisation and delivery.
  • Data management, analysis, and reporting skills.
  • Handling confidential and sensitive information.
  • Experience in the notforprofit and/or higher education sectors.
  • Understanding of UK Visa rules.
  • Experience working with external panel members.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics or another database system.
