Hybrid Remote working

Are you looking for a new Buyer / Category Manager job within an exciting, evolving company in Swindon who offer hybrid working with the opportunity to work from home twice a week?

What you'll do:

Support and begin to lead the procurement lifecycle on specific categories and projects
Conduct opportunity analysis, working with the business to identify (and at times challenge) need
Supporting users in placing orders, receipting and/or understand procurement processes
Lead in the development and implementation of strategic sourcing plans. Continually lead and challenge the evaluation and identification of requirements to ensure that developed procurement strategies are aligned with our business.
Experience of category management at an operation level (essential)
Excellent MS Excel skills
Experience of managing relationships with suppliers
Experience of contract negotiation
Adaptable and the ability to work in a fast paced, changing environment
CIPS qualification (or willing to study towards this)
