    Electrical Project Manager (Building Services)

    Location: West Yorkshire (1 day working from home)

    Salary: Circa £65k

    We are seeking an Electrical Project Manager ideally with a background in industrial and commercial electrical services. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will oversee multiple electrical installation projects spanning commercial, health, education, and industrial sectors. While most projects are situated within the local region of our head office in West Yorkshire, occasional travel may be required.

    Key responsibilities:

    • Manage projects from post-estimate phase through to completion.
    • Procure materials, labour, and subcontract packages.
    • Supervise both directly employed and subcontract/specialist labour.
    • Oversee the design process from Stage 4 to completion.
    • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
    • Demonstrate commercial awareness, managing variations, applications, and cost control.
    • Engage with clients, attending and/or chairing project meetings.
    • Ensure high-quality electrical services installation across multiple projects.
    • Program, plan, and report on all project management activities.
    • Manage the commissioning process through to handover.

    About you:

    • Background in building services project management with a strong electrical engineering skill set.
    • Experience in a contracting background.
    • While formal qualifications are not mandatory, an HNC/HND or similar building services-related qualification is advantageous.
    • Proven track record in a similar managerial position is essential.
    • Experience managing multiple projects, ideally with individual values of £100k to £1 million and above.
    • Strong client-facing skills.
