- Patrol inspection of product builds, applying build acceptance criteria for welding, electrical and mechanical fitment and good workmanship standards throughout the build stages. Liaising with production operators to conduct independent verifications at set gateway points during the build
- Quality departmental administrative tasks, including maintenance of quality records to demonstrate conformance and report performance, quality management system document control, product labelling etc.
- Nonconformance reporting, investigation and containment (supported by Quality Engineers)
- Support Test Technicians with production testing.
- Mechanical or electrical production related experience in a representative industry
- The ability to read & interpret engineering drawings.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Awareness of ISO 9001
- Experience of conducting product inspection and testing
- Have a 'can-do' attitude
- Attention to detail with a methodical approach
- Strong communication skills – both written and verbal.
- Ideally having trained and worked in a mechanical engineering role, possibly within the automotive industry (or its supply base)
- Forklift truck licence
- Previous experience of working within a quality control/quality assurance role
