    Job Summary

    Would you like to help improve the health and wellbeing of those with drug and alcohol issues?

    The Role

    The post arises from additional OHID funding. You will be a dynamic, driven individual who is committed to supporting people who use our services in the substance misuse community and their associated needs.

    You will:

  • Liaise with and visit inpatient wards to support Redbridge-connected people to transfer effectively from hospital to community treatment and support, including aftercare, and OST or relapse prevention prescribing.
  • Work alongside partner agencies and key stakeholders to develop new pathways and joint working initiatives that remove barriers to accessing support for problematic alcohol or drug use, including establishing satellites where people can be seen at locations and settings that are more convenient for them.
  • Support other colleagues with assertively engaging and re-engaging our most complex and vulnerable people.
  • The Service

    Via Redbridge is an established, integrated community service delivered across several provisions in the Borough. The service consists of both clinical and psychosocial elements and is CQC registered to provide a range of clinical interventions including BBV and health interventions, OST, and community detox, as well as having family and carers and service user involvement provision.

    Together we offer a wide range of pharmacological, psychosocial, recovery-orientated, health focused and inpatient interventions that support individuals and their families who wish to receive advice, assessment, and treatment for their drug and/ or alcohol related needs.

    Via Redbridge is an established community service that is performing well and highly functioning. We are a friendly team of professionals who support each other. The service operates Mon- Fri, our core hours 9am to 5pm but there are times where we might need to work occasional evenings or weekends.

    Location

    The role is predominantly based in Ilford Chambers, but at times may involve travel to external meetings and satellites within the borough, and to other Via locations as needed.
