- MB BS or equivalent medical qualification.
- Qualification or higher degree in medical education, clinical research, or management.
- MRCPsych.
- Additional clinical qualifications.
- Fully registered with the GMC with a licence to practise at the time of appointment.
- Spent a minimum of four years (full time or equivalent) in postgraduate training in the UK or equivalent training abroad, of which at least 2 years in psychiatry.
- At least 6-month experience in CAMHS psychiatry.
- In good standing with GMC with respect to warning and conditions on practice.
- Included on the GMC Specialist Register for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
- Experience of working for at least 6 months in CAMHS in UK.
- Approved under S12 OR able to achieve within six months of appointment.
- Excellent knowledge in specialty.
- Excellent clinical skills using bio-psycho-social perspective and wide medical knowledge.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
- Participated in continuous professional development
