Robertson Bell are pleased to be partnering with this unique international organisation in their search for a Senior Financial Accountant.

In a truly unique area of financial accounting, this role will take ownership of the accurate and compliant reportingon the organisation's vast insurance and guarantee products.

The main responsibilities of the Senior Financial Accountant include:

Lead on the production of monthly accounts for the organisation's portfolio of insurance and guarantee products, preparing journals and month end commentary to support the monthly management packs.
Business partner with the relevant teams to advise on the correct treatment of various products, as well as ensuring the underwriting teams are provided with appropriate and accurate information.
Review an analyse new products, to ensure that they are accounted for correctly, liaising with appropriate internal and external stakeholders to stay up to date on all new product types.
Provide a crucial role in the organisation's upcoming implementation of a new accounting standard.
Line management of an Assistant Financial Accountant.

A fully qualified accountant (CCAB or CIMA).
