Breakfast & After School Club Manager


A position has opened up at a friendly and lively company running activity camps and providing wraparound care for children and schools.

Our full-time and seasonal staff teams are full of energetic, motivated people who are passionate about providing thevery best childcare experience.

The ideal person for this role with us will be confident, good-natured and organised. They will have excellent communication skills and be able to balance being assertive with being fun and entertaining. They should have a greatawareness of childcare, safeguarding and health and safety. They may have previously worked in schools, perhaps as a Teaching Assistant, After School Clubs Supervisor or Sports Coach.


Key responsibilities of Breakfast & After School Club Manager:

  • To maintain high standards of care for all children at Breakfast and After School Club.
  • Oversee the safety, well-being and inclusion of all children at the club, inspiring them to participate in an exciting range of activities.
  • To be welcoming, communicative and professional at all times with children, parents/carers, staff, teachers and other stakeholders.
  • To uphold Safeguarding and Health & Safety Policies at all times, ensuring that the children's and staff's safety and wellbeing is always our first priority.
  • Act as a role model on site for both staff and children, demonstrating a positive, proactive and high energy approach throughout the clubs.
  • Manage and supervise the staff working, delegating tasks to ensure the smooth running of the clubs and completion of all tasks.
  • Heavily support the induction, training and CPD of staff, including holding weekly meetings.
  • Organise the staff rota, record attendance and prepare information required for payroll.
  • Ensure that there is a range of exciting activities throughout the week and term, ensuring a high quality, structured and engaging provision of care.

Essential Attributes for Breakfast & After School Club Manager:

  • Hold an Enhanced DBS Check. If not, we can assist you in completing this.
  • Confidence in leading people and maintaining positive working relationships with colleagues.
  • Ability to work under pressure and be professional at all times.
  • Enthusiastic, organised, reliable, trustworthy and have a fun and approachable manner with children and young people.
Minimum hours of 30 hours per week during term time.


Bonus Structure:

5% of salary on completion of first academic year.
10% of salary on completion of second academic year.
