Electricity Tester Overview:

If you have experience in Electrical Testing, Electrical Wiring, PAT Testing and possess knowledge of 17th Edition / 18th Edition, we are interested in hearing from you today.

Utilizing internal testing tools (training provided on-site equipment) to conduct assessments on Power Distribution Units post-production to certify the electrical safety of the items. The company produces a wide range of products including extension leads, cables, sockets, and electrical distribution units. This varied product line ensures each day brings new challenges.

Electricity Tester Requirements:

Essential electrical expertise (Preferably 18th Edition, 17th Edition BS7671)
Previous experience with basic Power tools (e.g., Drill-Drivers)
Proficient in manual PAT testing (e.g., Flukes)
Strong IT Skills
Keen attention to detail
Self-driven with a proactive approach

Electricity Tester Responsibilities:

Testing portable power units, utilizing internal testing apparatus
Evaluating mains cabling, plugs, and adaptors using 'Socket & See' and Martindale testing tools
Assembly of circuit-protected portable power units for the TV, Film, and Broadcasting sectors
Creating single, three-phase, and multicore mains cabling, along with adaptors and splitters
Production of standard plugs and sockets rated IP44 and IP67
