**Teaching Assistant Year 3

Teaching Personnel are working with a mainstream primary school in the CF3 area of Cardiff that is seeking a full time Teaching Assistant to join their Year 3 Class.

The role is 5 days per week (Monday - Friday).

Start date:
March 2023

You will be responsible for running group sessions, 1-1 interventions, general class support during lessons, break time cover and other general assistive duties.

You will also help with pupil assessments and feedback for teachers and carers.

Previous experience working with children or adults with SEN or challenging behaviour would be desirable but is not compulsory:

The Role:

Hours: 8:30am 3:30pm
Year 3 Teaching Assistant
11 Support

- £10.77 per hour

Responsibilities:

Providing support within the classroom wherever required
Delivering activities on onetoone or small group basis
Ensuring children are engaged
Adapting to every individual pupil's needs
Helping with behaviour management of children
Creating displays of children's work

Attentive to needs of pupils
Strong regard for pupil safetyand well being
Caring, patient, and understanding
Motivating with ability to engage pupils
Good ability to manage behaviour
Reliable and committed fully to each lesson assisted

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
