    The in-house operation
    The IT department is responsible for and designs the entire IT of the City of Munich. We ensure that IT provision meets the city's current and future needs.

    As part of the IT department, we ensure a modern IT and telecommunications infrastructure, implement professional IT solutions and secure the IT operations of the City of Munich with over 1,200 employees in our own company .

    As a DevOps Engineer with a focus on design and operations (f/m/d), you will work in a wide-ranging environment that includes advising our customers (especially Münchner Kammerspiele) on optimizing their IT solutions as well as implementing and planning new suitable applications.

    In some cases, you will accompany the solution conception from the requirements analysis to the commissioning at or at an external manufacturer, which you will monitor and control.

    As part of incident and problem management, you will also take on 2nd and, if necessary, 3rd level support tasks, analyze and rectify faults in the supported system and thus ensure compliance with the agreed service levels.

    In addition, you will independently make changes to the existing IT systems if you deem them necessary (e.g. lifecycle measures).
    12 TVöD (depending on experience level from € 4,170.74 gross per month for full-time employment)

    Specialist knowledge:

    many years (at least three years) of experience in lifecycle management or IT service processes, good knowledge of current technologies, e.g.

    with regard to architecture, design and implementation of software solutions, knowledge of common IT products and infrastructures

    Experience in the area of Linux servers
