A bit about the role:

The Personal Assistant (PA) will support the Translational Challenge Leadership to ensure smooth management of their day-to-day affairs, handling sensitive and complex issues in a professional manner taking initiative as appropriate.

About you:

Essential skills:

Expert proficiency with Microsoft Office
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
High degree of professionalism in dealing with diverse groups of people, including senior executives, employees, academics, and industry partners.
Experience working in a matrix environment
Experience in project coordination, managing deadlines, recording meeting minutes.
Demonstrate initiative when making decisions regarding priorities and available time.
Ability to complete a high volume of tasks and projects with only some guidance.
Ability to react with appropriate levels of urgency to situations and events
Ability to deal with sensitive information with discretion and to maintain confidentiality.
Possess sound judgment.
A flexible, proactive approach to work including the ability to prioritise and reprioritise.

Qualifications:

No formal qualification is required but it is expected that the incumbent will have A-Level education or equivalent
