Well Being Coordinator:


Working Hours:
Full Time.


Rate of Pay:
£12.00 to £15.00 (according to qualifications and experience)


Location:
Culverhayes Nursing Home, Lymore Avenue, Twerton, Bath BA2 1AY.

Job Role:


An exciting position where you have the opportunity to improve the quality of people's lives on a daily basis through leading the well-being program within the home.


  • Leading care staff within the home to better facilitate a sense of community and wellbeing for all the residents.
  • Organising exciting and innovative social and leisure events within the home and out in the community.
  • Creating enjoyable mealtime experiences for residents, their family and friends.
  • Making close bonds with all the residents to deliver personalised care plans that facilitate their preferred hobbies and lifestyle choices.

About the role

  • Inspires staff to better creative and personalised care with the wellbeing approach.
  • Facilitates social links between residents, relatives, friends and the local community.
  • Creates and evolves personalized social and leisure schedules for residents according to their interests and preferences.

Criteria for Well Being Coordinator

  • To have an interest in the wellbeing movement and social care.
  • To possess creativity, enthusiasm, patience and empathy.
  • The ability to work independently using own initiative.
  • The ability to manage and involve other staff members in residents wellbeing and social interests.
  • To be compassionate.
  • Have a genuine interest in the wellbeing of the residents.
  • Have excellent listening skills.
  • A qualification or experience in Health science, social science, events or creative arts is preferred, but not essential.
  • To have leadership experience.
  • Some experience of working with the elderly or in a caring environment is preferred, but not essential.
