Job Title: Revit Technician

Location: Darlington, UK

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a talented and driven Revit Technician to join our clients dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting their architects and senior technicians in the creation and development of architectural designs using Revit software.

Responsibilities:

• Provide support to Project Teams in creating and developing 3D models in Revit
• Produce Revit families according to project requirements
• Contribute to and maintain BIM standards and library of BIM objects
• Ability to develop scripts in Dynamo for design and productivity requirements
• Run clash detection in Revit
• Support teams in troubleshooting technical issues and resolving clashes
• Use Revit for scheduling
• Provide basic rendering to models applying appropriate lighting techniques

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a similar position within the architectural or construction industry.
• Proficiency in Revit software is essential, with a strong understanding of BIM principles and practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate and high-quality drawings and models.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• A proactive and enthusiastic attitude towards learning and professional development.
