    An exciting opportunity exists for a Vehicle Modelling Engineer to join the Performance Simulation Group .
    The current Formula One regulations heavily limit real world testing of a F1 car.

    This makes the role of unregulated simulation indispensable in the development and optimisation of many areas of a Formula One team, particularly in Performance Engineering, where the performance targets for the car design are generated, and the on-track performance of the current season's car is understood and optimised.

    This role will be focused on the development of the Team's performance vehicle models and simulations, for use trackside, in the simulator and in offline vehicle development settings.

    The position will involve cooperation with Performance Development, Simulator Development, Performance Software, Performance Optimisation, Race Engineering, Aerodynamics, R&D and Mechanical Design functions.

    Development of advanced physical models of a Formula One car and its subsystems
    Development of simulation algorithms that exercise the high-fidelity vehicle model to enable engineers to perform complex analysis
    Writing readable, maintainable, and efficient code
    Communicating with other departments to deliver projects within the Team
    Degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related discipline (Masters/PhD preferred)
    Motivated by finding creative and practical solutions to complex problems
    Experience with common programming languages, such as C/C++
