    At Teaching Personnel, we are looking to recruit an Geography Teacher for one of our secondary schools in Leeds.

    Ready to embark on a journey of exploration and discovery with your students? ECTs and Fully Qualified teachers with some experience teaching in the UK and a DBS on the update service, are welcome to apply.

    Contract: Full-time

    Role Overview: As a Geography Teacher, you will have the opportunity to foster a deeper understanding of the Earth's landscapes, environments, and cultures among students. You will plan and deliver high-quality lessons that encourage exploration, critical thinking, and a sense of responsibility for our planet. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are enthusiastic about geography education and committed to empowering students to become informed global citizens.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Plan and deliver dynamic geography lessons that cover a range of topics, including physical geography, human geography, and environmental issues.
    • Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to engage students and promote active learning, including fieldwork, maps, data analysis, and multimedia materials.
    • Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions, explore different perspectives, and develop their own understanding of geographical concepts.
    • Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs and abilities of students, providing support and extension activities as needed.
    • Assess students' understanding and progress through formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
