    The Role:

    A multinational utility scale Solar & co-located BESS developer, owner and operator are looking for a Construction Project Manager (Solar PV) to join their growing team.

    This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Construction Project Manager to work on some exciting renewable energy projects.
    In this role you will manage the on-site construction activities for the project pipeline.

    You will assist with establishing sound CDM standards, systems and procedures for construction activities as well as prepare, manage and report on project construction milestones, budgets, cash flows and program at a portfolio level.

    You will provide guidance throughout the design, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.


    What you will do:

    • Manage solar PV construction projects in parallel, taking ownership of project budget, program and reporting.
    • Co-ordinate and manage relationships with contractors, consultants, suppliers and other relevant stakeholders
    • Proactively identify and solve problems, taking preventative measures to avoid risks to the solar project schedule and budget. Manage and report on deviations from project schedules, budgets or scope at portfolio level.
    • Provide technical advice to senior management to ensure all construction management factors during the build process are appropriately considered and risk assessed and are in compliance with construction requirements
    • Support the development of tender documentation and review, in conjunction with the wider team
    • Support the negotiation of efficient and cost-effective contracts for project delivery where required
    • Co-ordinate with the project delivery team to ensure projects are constructed in a safe, efficient and cost-effective manner
    • Co-ordinate Owner's Engineer services on site
    • Support and influence the development and growth of the project delivery teamWhat you will need:
    • Bachelor's degree in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical/Energy Engineering or related discipline.
    • 4+ years' experience in construction work in a relevant industry (renewable energy, or power sectors)
    • Proven track record of construction management and site experience, preferably in the construction of renewable energy assets.
    • Evidence of successfully managing multiple projects to demanding deadlines
    • Strong technical knowledge all relevant Construction and Health & Safety standards and regulations
    • Knowledge of MV and HV electrical designs and grid connection methodologies.
    • Valid driver's license
