    Our team is seeking an experienced professional who is diligent, analytical and has the ability to collaborate with Trading, Structuring, Middle Offices, Controllers, Legal, Engineering and Sales to facilitate and support the origination of Fund Structures, SPVs and Securitized Derivatives. You will be able to contribute across the complete issuance process, manage the product all the way to its maturity and play a pivotal role in continued evolution of structured product platforms. The business continuously expands into new markets and product areas and your expertise will help the business successfully capitalize on upcoming market opportunities

    Global Markets Operations is a dynamic, multi-faceted division that partners with all areas of the firm to deliver banking, sales and trading and asset management capabilities to clients around the world. Alongside this vital service delivery role, Operations provides essential risk management and control, preserving and enhancing the firm's assets and its reputation. Operations spans all product lines and markets, serving as internal business partners who develop the processes and controls and help to specify the systems that deliver accuracy, timeliness and integrity to our business.

    BUSINESS UNIT OVERVIEW

    Global Markets Structuring Operations provide origination, middle office and issuance support to the Structured Products (SPVs, Fund Products, and Securitized Derivatives) businesses across Asia, EMEA and Americas.

    The team supports structured products including securitized notes, warrants, SPVs, UCITS funds, managed accounts and other bespoke structures, working closely with the business across a wide range of functions including origination and issuance of structured products, platform development, portfolio support and associated product controls. Given the range of responsibilities, our team become subject matter experts in various components of the structures, markets and flows allowing them to manage a variety of tasks and facilitate new business activities. In fact a key focus of our team is to utilize this wealth of knowledge to meaningfully contribute to origination and structuring discussions regarding what is operationally possible and/or sustainable over the life of each product.

    Being a very bespoke business, our operations team perform pre-trade feasibility front-to-back analysis, trade execution, issuance readiness & ensuring firm readiness for post go live support. Our team also provides the business with expertise and guidance around new markets and products, leverages strong vendors relationships to assess opportunities and drives projects that support business expansion into new markets.

    HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL:

    Situated in our European Headquarters in London and adjacent to the front office, the successful candidate will become an operations product and platform manager, with a primary focus on deal execution and supporting the growing Fund and SPV businesses.

    Responsibilities will include:
  • Day to day origination and trading desk support of Fund Products, Fund Structures and SPVs
  • Act as a first of support in London for Fund Derivative Traders
  • Become a key relationship manager for risk taking desks in London
  • Understanding and becoming a subject matter expert in existing long-term structures
  • Project management and implementation of Fund and SPV infrastructure builds and/or enhancements
  • Gain and proactively deploy strong knowledge of structured products; Build expertise on origination across notes, SPVs and Fund Structures
  • Independently drive and project manage new product ideas across markets
  • Becoming a subject matter expert in the nuances of the various products and markets from an Issuances, Settlement, Lifecycle Servicing to meaningfully support the growing product portfolio
  • Collaborating with Structuring, Trading, Sales, Operations, Engineering, Controllers and Legal in the course of your day to day responsibilities
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to understand the intricacies of the internal systems as well as the nuances of the regulators and external market environments to partner with the business in new market and product initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive continuous improvement & strategic initiatives for the business

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 7 years of experience in financial services
  • Self-motivated and proactive team player who takes ownership and accountability of projects & tasks, has strong organizational skills and effectively manages competing priorities
  • Candidate must be comfortable in a high-pressured environment
  • Proven analytical skills, problem solving ability, and attention to detail
  • Aptitude for building relationships, along with the ability to communicate complex issues to a wide array of internal and external clients with differing levels of product experience
  • Excellent written, communication and presentations skills
  • Integrity and passion for working in a competitive environment

    PREFFERED EXPERIENCE
  • Prior experience with Fund Products, Managed Accounts, UCITS Funds and Special Purpose 'Repack' Vehicles
  • Fund Administration and/or Fund Accounting experience a bonus but not pre-requisite
  • Experience with Structured Products, Derivatives (Securitized and/or OTC) in a Middle Office environment desirable
