As a Senior Data Architect, you will work with agile and analytics data teams to design and implement modern, scalabledata products using a range of new and emerging technologies.

What you'll be doing:

As a Senior Data Architect, you will be responsible for providing in-depth knowledge and strategy regarding cloud capabilities using services such as AWS or Azure.

The plan is to leverage the global data platform and reusing the data products to share the costs and save using economies of scale.

The HM is therefore looking for someone who has experience with:

Cost optimization
Utilising services that will be useful to various stakeholders
Endtoend data flow

You will act as a Subject Matter Expert for end-to-end data architecture and work with Agile and DevOps techniques and implementation approaches in the delivery.

Furthermore, you will mentor and upskill fellow group members, and contribute to internal networksand special interest groups.

What you'll need to apply:

Experience with AWS and/or Azure
Experience in designing and managing relational/nonrelational stores, scalability and cost/consumption monitoring
Experience in designing and managing Kubernetes components, scalability and cost/consumption monitoring
Thought leadership on leveraging cloud based platforms and big data technologies, including integration with existing data and analytics platforms and tools
Handson experience with Spark and Kafka

What you'll get in return for your experience
The role is offered up to £105k base plus car allowance, bonus and benefits. The expectation is 1 day per week in the office for workshops and key meetings.
