We are seeking a talented
Maintenance Engineer for an international design and manufactring business, operating from their state-of-the-art facility that will be expanding in 2023 in the Wirral area.

Estimating Engineer will be involved with:

Working within the Estimating team, you will play a pivotal role supporting the Commercial Manager with leading global clients to bid on new projects business
You will be responsible for preparing estimates for new business
Collaborate with the Business Development and Finance to manage and prepare bids
Liasie with all departments across sites to support business needs
Ability to present bids to customers/ potential customers and explain costing principles and sell the businesses capabilities and competitiveness
Handover successful bid packages to NPI and Engineering explaining bid assumptions and proposed manufacturing strategy

Estimator Engineer requirements:

Background in bid compilation, estimating procedures and standard cost modelling
Ideally within an engineering based project environment
In depth knowledge of bid compilation, estimating procedures and standard cost modelling
Demonstrated strength in numerical and financial analysis
In depth knowledge of raw materials, associated manufacturing processes for metallic details and assemblies, resources and productivity
NPI Project management
Experience in an estimating / business development discipline
Accurate in costing
Microsoft packages
Quotation tools
Ability to deal directly with customers and suppliers
Lean manufacturing techniques and other methods
