    Navigating the dynamic landscape of renewable energy projects demands a seasoned professional who can seamlessly oversee every phase, from inception to execution.

    We are looking for a Project Supervisor.

    Tasked with ensuring the smooth delivery of critical projects within the renewable sector, this role embodies adaptability, leadership, and technical prowess.

    OVERVIEWThe Project Supervisor is responsible for site delivery of assigned key projects within the Renewable sector from pre-mobilisation to demobilisation phases inclusive.

    They will also from time to time, and as approved by line manager, support nominated offshore and onshore projects within any energy sector as a technician within their coatings inspection discipline.

    This is a permanent staff position, with competitive salary, based on working 140 days per year (uplift is applicable in the event of exceeding the number of days).

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Non-conformances – report any non-conformances and incidents to the HSEQ representative/ Line Manager as appropriate.
    • Improvements – interface with the HSEQ representative/ Line Manager on any HSEQ related issues/ initiatives.
    • Team working – communicate well and participate as part of the team, undertaking any additional tasks as directed to exceed our customers' expectations.
    KEY FUNCTIONS – BIDS AND TENDERS

    • Support the review of the technical bid documentation and development of the scope of work, for works within their discipline
    • Support the cost and timing estimates for bid and tenders within their disciplineKEY FUNCTIONS – PREMOBILISATION
    • Attend and contribute to KOM and HIRA meetings
    • Review and comment on project delivery documentation (RAMS, Task Plans, Administration)
    • Support the preparation of Risk Assessments and Task Plans as assigned within competency
    • Review and comment on equipment and material selection, review manifest as assigned
    • Support the set up and testing of TRAC inCert software as required
    • Support the preparation of the pre-mobilisation crew briefKEY FUNCTIONS –MOBILISATION
    • TRAC Focal Point for Site Based Client and Site Agent if applicable
    • Attend and support pre-mobilisation crew brief and mobilise with / ahead of site team
    • Provide guidance on technician use of selected IMR software – project focal point for this
    • Ensure that equipment delivered to site is entered checked and issued to technicians as required, with necessary documentation completed
    • Manage the vessel on-hire process, ensuring all relevant documentation is completedKEY FUNCTIONS – LIVE PROJECT
    • Attend Client planning meetings
    • Prepare and issue DPR and timesheets
    • Review works completed on a daily basis, from the submitted DPRs and TRAC inCert progress
    • Site management of rolling mobilisation plan and liaison with TRAC PM
    • Goods in / out control and regular stock checks
    • Vessel co-ordination and management, managing the sail/no-sail decisions if applicable
    • Co-ordinate and manage site activities, along with supporting the mobilisation and demobilisation of technicians

    • Support preparation of the demobilisation plan and implement it with specific attention to:o Return of equipment and processing for return freight to office or vendoro Return of vehicleso Clearance of work areas – e.g. vessel back deck, client stores and officeso Download and cross check of all site project dataKEY FUNCTIONS – POST PROJECT
    • Attend project debrief and ensure close-out of all site generated documentation
    • Contribute to lessons learned
    • Support preparation of final Client reportsKEY FUNCTIONS – GENERAL
    • The list of the job duties is not exclusive and the Project Supervisor will be required to undertake tasks that may reasonably be expected within the role.
    • Execution of discipline Key Functions when assigned to projects within that role
    • Support the execution of the project management process throughout all projects.
    COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTSQualifications

    • Basic Numeracy/ Literacy e.g. Maths/English at Standard Grade or equivalent.
    Additional Skills/Requirements

    • Highly proficient with standard MS Office Suite (specifically Excel and Word)
    • Familiarity with cloud based inspection and maintenance reporting tools
    • Technical training to enhance knowledge shall be considered as identified, but not essential
    • GWO / OGUK certification including medical fitness for offshore / onshore site workTechnicalo Coatings Inspector (NACE, ICORR, AMPP)Experience/Knowledge

    Site attendance will be required throughout the live phase of the project and such attendance will usually exceed the UK North Sea norm of 14-21 day rotation.


    • As the client base and project's locations are geographically widespread, the expectations will be such that availability to mobilise globally may be required.
    • These locations include construction yards, on and offshore windfarms, vessels, offshore platforms, refineries, and other client facilities as contractual obligations dictate.
    • Depending on location, certain medical/ additional site requirements may be needed.
