    The Role

    P&O Cruises Sales, Marketing and Brand team are hiring for a new Senior Search Marketing Executive role to drive forward the strategic and tactical development of the PPC activity within the paid search channel. Working with a multi-million-pound budget, the Senior Search Marketing Executive, plays a vital role in delivering against significant annual revenue and newcomer growth targets.

    You will

    • Drive tactical optimisation of paid search accounts and performance in line with industry best practice, driving incremental and high-quality paid search traffic to the site while responding to issues and opportunities
    • Refine account build and features, including ad extensions, keyword targeting and negation, etc
    • Strategically utilise audience features such as RLSAs, Customer Match for CRM data and Similar Audiences
    • Liaise with Google and Microsoft contacts to identify and leverage opportunities, including new beta trials
    • Provide comprehensive knowledge of the channel and performance through weekly and monthly reporting, both in writing and person

    Our role categories range from CUK15 (entry level) to CUK1 (Brand President) so you can clearly see internal development opportunities. This role is a CUK09 and is offered on a full time, permanent basis with hybrid working in our Southampton office, a minimum of 3 days per week.

    • Experience in managing search marketing activity with a proven track record in delivering performance and efficiencies within paid search
    • Evidence of effectively managing a significant search budget
    • Thrive working to clear, and well-defined targets, with a strong sense of personal accountability
    • Advanced experience of using Google and Microsoft Ads interfaces and editors and related search tools
