Salary:
£20,000 pro rata


Hours: 22.5 hours per week

We have an exciting opportunity to join Willow Burn's Income Generation and Marketing Team as our E-Commerce Co-Ordinator.
Not everyone knows this, but hospices need fundraising to survive. Willow Burn only receives 46% of its funds through government. For every pound spent providing care at Willow Burn the charity needs over 50p from fundraising.

The main running costs are funded through the generous donations and support from our local community and we are looking for are looking for a highly motivated, ambitious individual with an eye for detail to run our growing e-commerce offering and develop the future of online retail at Willow Burn.


You will be ambitious, with a drive to develop our online income including creative ways to promote products on social media.


The post holder will be involved in the day to day running all our online selling platforms and manage a team of volunteers to generate profit from donated pre-loved and new items online.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for researching, pricing, photography and listing of preloved items for online sale to maximise income, on a range of platforms, including Vinted and eBay, social media and website.
  • To identify stock for online sale from Willow Burn's Charity Shops.
  • Deliver high levels of customer service during all sales and sales enquiries to ensure positive seller experience and feedback across all ecommerce platforms.
  • Work with and grow a team of retail ecommerce volunteers to assist with the growth of ecommerce sales and ensure efficient order system to meet postage/buyer deadlines.
  • To use social media to promote online products to generate income and raise awareness of retail offer.
  • To take lead on online sales, offers and promotions to maximise profit, and analyse the results to inform future sales strategies.
  • Work with the Retail Operations Manager to produce reports on online sales and income for accurate income generation reporting.
  • To assist with the identification and development of additional ecommerce platforms to increase online sales income, from both new and preloved items.
  • Assist with shop daily procedures as and when required.
