St Margarets Hospice Care has a fantastic opportunity for a Multi-Disciplinary Team Assistant (MDTA) Community (suitable for physio and OT assistants or HCA)to join their team.

This roleis based in Yeovil.

You will join us on a full time or part time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £26,337per annum pro rata.

What can you expect to be doing? Our MDTAs work within the community team to support practitioners (registered nurse, Physiotherapist, Occupational therapist, social worker, Clinical Nurse Specialist), to provide person-centered support, care and treatment to patients, their families and carers across the community who have palliative and end of life care needs.

As part of the MDTA team you will assess non-complex symptoms which may include pain, shortness of breath, mobility, pressure risk, continence and psychological factors.

You will be required to analyse this information and carry out non-complex interventions within own scope of practice and refer on to specialists as needed.
