    About Us

    We're looking for a Business Analyst to join within Springer Nature Operations. You would be joining a portfolio of work to drive sustained change in how Springer Nature uses and understands its data. The role is reporting to the Director of Data Transformation Programmes and based in London (UK). There will be travel at times with colleagues in many of our global offices.

    Your Responsibilities

  • Work with stakeholders and teams to support them in understanding our goals & vision, and uncover business needs
  • Work to design and undertake pieces of analysis work that enable stakeholders and teams to make better decisions on how to manage our data and products
  • Recommend changes to processes, and systems so that the data teams produce can be trusted
  • Design and measure experiments that are customer focussed and data-informed
  • Gathering and generating insights to advocate data-driven recommendations
  • Communicate to teams how requirements are aligned with the business needs and "big picture" goals and vision
  • Collaborate and provide business analysis support to product managers, business sponsors, SMEs and testers during development
  • Unearth the root cause(s) of pain points, and validate business opportunities and problems
  • Prioritise work and obtain buy-in from stakeholders
  • Map, analyse and validate information flows within a complex organisational setting
  • Facilitate workshops with a wide range of diverse stakeholders in the business
  • Promote business analysis best practices and principles within the BA community
  • Question and influence conclusions; focusing on customer and business value
  • About You

  • Using various facilitation tools and techniques, you can demonstrate your experience in facilitating groups to achieve defined goals and outcomes.
  • Can demonstrate experience of working successfully with teams to deliver software
  • You will have excellent communication skills and articulate concepts and ideas from technical and functional business perspectives.
  • You can use available data for better decision making
  • You will have a strong focus on high-quality customer experience and sustainable solutions.
  • You can demonstrate outstanding analytical ability to solve complex problems.
  • You have proven experience in managing and resolving conflicts with stakeholders.
  • You use your drive, creativity and initiative to move the team forward.
  • You have experience in driving continuous improvement and innovation across teams.
  • Have experience in coaching and the implementation of agile and lean principles.
  • You are intellectually curious and motivated - constantly looking for more context.
