My client a global communications company, is looking to recruit an experienced Programme Manager.

Primary Responsibilities / Duties

  • Evolve and manage governance structure that controls all projects through the sales pipeline, delivery and into service.
  • Control and review all projects moving through the pipeline stages to agreed milestone dates.
  • Analysis, agreement and mobilisation of technical and commercial resources to effectively progress projects through the sales pipeline and through into delivery.
  • Ensure all projects that are being delivered have adequate delivery resources to agreed commercial model and business cases approved (budgets, plans and visible acceptance criteria).
  • Direct line management for all Project Management resources
  • Review and challenge all project delivery, ensuring milestones are being met against agreed plans and costs and the project outcomes are meeting client and business expectations.
  • Ensure all project risks are being identified, managed and highlighted.
  • Creation and presentation of weekly and monthly project/programme status reporting packs.
  • Creation of weekly and monthly review packs, managing the establishment and execution of these weekly and monthly reviews with clients and internally.
  • Management of delivery partners, ensuring delivery against agreed scope of works.
  • Management of delivery suppliers to agreed contract scope of works.
  • Ensure that team priorities are clear and are being managed weekly.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external partners, senior level stakeholders, operating and maintaining clear stakeholder management strategies and plans to inform and influence stakeholders as necessary to improve the probability of deliverysuccess.
  • All projects from inception and delivered into service having a clear and mobilised resource plan.
Formal Qualifications / Certificates Required

  • Formal Project Management Qualification, (PRINCE2/APMP) or equivalent
  • Qualified to degree level
