    Start Date:

    September 2024 or ASAPM/LK Education Search is excited to be partnering with this brand new, specialist SEMH provision for 5–19-year-olds set to open its doors in Sutton this September.

    They are seeking to appoint a confident, dynamic, and resilient Deputy Head to the SLT who can inspire and staff and ensure students make excellent progress.

    As a new, small school catering for 40 students, you will be joining at the beginning of an exceptionally exciting journey of growth and therefore may be required to wear several hats, including a portion of the teaching timetable where required.


    You will be:
    An outstanding practitioner with experience as a leader within a similar environment.

    A SEN and Ofsted expert able to help the school move towards gaining an Outstanding gradeExperienced in motivating staff and pupils, using a person-centred approach.

    An optimist, with a 'can do' attitude and the desire to take on the challenge of opening a brand-new setting.

    An exceptional communicator who builds long-standing relationships with key stakeholders.
    Committed to working with pupils with SEMH and additional needs like trauma, attachment, and challenging behaviours.
    Able to present a clear vision, along with effective management and leadership skills to realise it.
    Familiar with creating and delivering a varied, creative Curriculum, supporting pupils to overcome barriers to learning.
    Familiar with Independent School Standards.
