Teaching Assistant required to provide 1-2-1 support for children with a primary diagnosis of Autism.

Are you a Teaching Assistant who has experience supporting children with Autism? Do you enjoy making a difference, giving back, and helping children toovercome social and academic barriers.

AS a Teaching assistant you will be supporting the class teacher, manging behaviours and providing any support that the child requires.

This role requires experience working with special educational needs and a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable.

You will receive outstanding support from the SENCO and experienced Teaching Assistants who love what they do Every day is different,exciting ang gives you an opportunity to make a difference.

This Teaching Assistant role is ideal for a classroom assistant, teaching assistant or behaviour mentor who has previously worked with Autism.


Job Role:

  • Supporting on a 121 basis within small classes of KS2 children with additional needs
  • Having a good understanding of a range of additional needs
  • Working as a Classroom Assistant / Teaching Assistant
  • Taking part in whole school activities and making school fun, engaging and beneficial for pupils
  • Breaking down barriers to communication and managing behaviours
