Are you a PRU Classroom Assistant looking for a new position at a primary aged pupil referral unit in Birmingham.

A fantastic opportunity has become available, working as a PRU Classroom Assistant with pupils with SEMH needs in KS1 and KS2.

** £400 - £450 per week

The PRU Classroom Assistant Role:

As a PRU Classroom Assistant, you will be supporting teaching and learning in the classroom, assisting the teacher with classroom management, and helping pupils with their work.

You will also work with students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, implementingeffective intervention strategies supporting with differentiated work.

As a PRU Classroom Assistant, you will work closely with the pastoral team to manage challenging behaviour and support student wellbeing.

This Pupil Referral Unit located in Birmingham caters for KS1 and KS2 pupils with SEMH needs and challenging behaviour that has meant they have been permanently excluded from their mainstream setting and referred to this provision.
