Part Time Financial Accountant - 3 days per week - £43,000 for 3 days (full time equivalent would-be c £65,000k)

FULLY REMOTE POSITION
Leading provider of software solutions and technology, established in 2000, the organisation has a excellent reputation in their field. They are seeking a qualified Financial Accountant.

Duties

Month end consolidation and review or management account. Consolidate results for 3 operating companies and head office company. Do the initial review of the monthly accounts and understand the detail behind them to support the Head of Finance.
Balance sheet management. Review of BS recs, understanding on financial position and warn Head of Finance of any potential risks
Stat accounts assembly. Assemble annual accounts and support the assembly of biannual RNS inline with relevant IFRS'
Audit overview. Support head of finance throughout annual audit, working closely with the audit partner and manager.
PLC reporting
Employee SIP scheme management
Treasury management. Have an overview of our cash position, support general accountant and accounts assistant with required transfers whilst protecting the business' best interest.
Marginal risk of financial penalties resulting which could result from noncompliance in any country which PBS may have an exposure.

Skills Required

Qualified accountant. 10+ PQE
Up to date IFRS knowledge. IFRS15 and IFRS16 are key
Experiences with EXCEL. Vlookups, sumifs and pivot table
Statutory accounts preparation within SME environment
Ability to understand, maintain and use financial systems
Dynamics experience preferable.
Excellent accounting skills with a strong foundation in double entry
Good working knowledge of Microsoft office products including Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
R&D Capitalization and amortization under IAS38
