Main Purpose:

We have a range of Security Officer positions available across the Cardiff area. These include roles such as council accommodation security, secuity for a local University and patrol driving.

Whilst we are advertising for temporary Christmas roles, permanent roles may also be available.

For any role, you will need good oral English, be approachable and smart.


Main duties
The main responsibilities of the Security Officer roles include, but are not limited to...

  • Liaising with client and management to fulfil security requirements on site
  • Conducting regular patrols of the site and reporting any suspicious activities or faults and incidents to the 24hour control centre and following the client escalation process
  • Report writing
  • Responding to incidents
  • Access/ egress control for clients and visitors

Requirements:


  • Valid Door Supervisor SIA license
  • Pride in personal appearance
  • Good communication skills
  • Full 5year checkable work history
  • Right to work in the United Kingdom
At least 2 years security experience

  • Flexible and willing to work extra shifts

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Temporary contract

Part-time hours: 24-48 per week


Salary:
£10.42-£10.90 per hour


Schedule:

  • 12 hour shift

Experience:

- security: 2 years (required)


Licence/Certification:

  • SIA (required)
  • Driving Licence (preferred)
