-The Role:


  • Management accounts for 2 companies
  • Purchase foreign exchange
  • Provide cover for posting customer receipts and reporting to the management team
  • VAT returns
  • Inter company reconciliations
  • Assist with cashbook postings
  • Month end and year end procedures
  • Involvement with the year end audit
  • Driving efficiencies within the department and wider business
  • Assisting the Financial Controller with systems and processes, along with integration into new finance and potentially wider ERP systems
  • Other management accountant ad hoc duties

About You:


  • Part qualified accountant with previous experience in a similar role
  • Confident in liaising with team members, and others outside the business in an appropriate manner
  • Thorough understanding of double entry book keeping
  • Previous experience of producing monthly management accounts
  • Strong reconciliation skills
  • Advanced excel skills
  • Ability to work efficiently
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Conscientious and pays attention to detail
  • Motivated with proactive mindset
  • Team player, organised, structured and able to manage priorities
