Responsibilities

• Planand deliver engaging drama lessons to primary and secondarystudents incorporating a variety of teaching strategies andresources.
• Create a safe and inclusive learningenvironment that encourages students to explore and express theircreativity.
• Develop students acting skillsimprovisation techniques and confidence through a range of dramaactivities and performances.
• Collaborate withother teachers and staff to integrate drama across the curriculumand support crossdisciplinary projects.
• Assessstudents progress and provide constructive feedback to help themimprove their performance and understanding of dramaconcepts.
• Organize and coordinate dramaproductions showcasing students talents and fostering a sense ofcommunity within the school.
• Stay updated withcurrent trends methodologies and resources in drama education andincorporate them into lesson planning anddelivery.

Requirements

• Bachelorsdegree in Drama Performing Arts or a relatedfield.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) orequivalent certification.
• Proven experienceteaching drama to primary and/or secondarystudents.
• Strong knowledge of drama techniquesacting methods and theatricalconcepts.
• Excellent communication andinterpersonal skills to effectively engage and connect withstudents.
• Ability to create and deliverengaging and wellstructured drama lessons for diverse learningabilities and age groups.
• Creativity andenthusiasm to inspire a passion for drama in students and developtheir overall confidence andselfexpression.
• Organizational andtimemanagement skills to effectively plan and coordinate dramaactivities and productions.
• A commitment toupholding the highest standards of professionalism integrity andethical conduct ineducation.
