**Lettings Manager

  • Caversham**
    5 day week

Up to £35k basic plus comms
My client, an independent established estate agent, is recruiting for a Lettings Manager to join their busy lettings department.


MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES of the Lettings Manager

  • Attend valuations and deliver new instructions
  • Generate landlord leads through marketing activities
  • Retention of current stock
  • Maintain a strong relationship with all landlords
  • Ensure properties are let in a timely manner
  • Manage the existing team of lettings negotiators and property managers
  • Coach and improve new and existing team members
  • Monitor overall and individual performance of all lettings team members
  • Deal with staff training and regular performance appraisals
  • Keep up to date with industry via research, training and attending meetings
  • Be aware of competitor performance and activity
  • Advocate of business and help to raise profile

TARGETS for the Lettings Manager

  • Net 25 fully managed properties each year
  • Retain 95% of fully managed properties

EXPERIENCE and KNOWLEDGE of the Lettings Manager

  • Previous lettings management experience

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

  • Excellent face to face customer service skills
  • Proven sales skills
  • Independent thinker
  • Flexibility in approach to tasks
  • An ability to efficiently and effectively communicate
