Finance Manager

Glasgow City Centre

12 month FTC (maternity cover, high confidence can go permanent)

Iconic Resourcing are delighted to bring to market a Finance Manager opportunity in Glasgow City Centre with our commercial clients for an initial 12 month FTC.

Role Responsibilities

1. Conduct thorough analysis of operational division reports to inform decision-making.
2. Create strong relationships both within and outside finance to grasp business performance dynamics.
3. Lead monthly budget review meetings with departments, devising actionable plans.
4. Perform detailed variance analysis to uncover discrepancies and suggest corrective measures.
5. Assist in quarterly re-forecasting by providing insights on current performance trends.
6. Budget spending and forecasts in sales, marketing, and support functions.
7. Generate monthly analysis reports for all business divisions with comprehensive commentary.
8. Aid in the preparation of monthly Board packs with relevant analysis and insights.
9. Undertake ad hoc duties as required to support finance team objectives.
10. Drive informed decision-making and resource optimization through insightful analysis and collaboration.

Skills and Experience

1. Strong business partnering experience
2. Have experience in the commercial/product sector
3. Have strong communication skills and have the confidence to communicate with all stakeholders
4. Strong excel skills
5. Can be QBE, PQ or fully qualified
