Role:
Electrical Rollingstock Engineer

Location:
Home/Field Based (covering Midlands engineering sites, so easy access to travel around the Midlands region is required)

Experience gained in Rail / Rollingstock areas is a prerequisite for this role ** We're looking for a talented Electrical Rollingstock Engineer with a strong technical background in rolling stock electrical systems and demonstrable rail sector experience.

This is a key role within our client's expanding business, and you'll play a pivotal part in driving improvements in maintenance and overhaul to client's fleets, with a strong emphasis on electrical systems.

As the Electrical Rollingstock Engineer, you'll report to the Head of Engineering and will be primarily responsible for:
# Overseeing the maintenance, overhaul, and troubleshooting of electrical systems within railway rolling stock.
# Developing and implementing engineering strategies focused on enhancing the reliability and performance of rolling stock electrical systems.
# Collaborating with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of projects.
# Proactively resolving complex technical issues within rolling stock electrical systems.
# The ideal candidate for this Electrical Rollingstock Engineer role will have:
Relevant engineering qualifications or experience with a focus on electrical systems.
Proven experience in the rail sector, specifically related to rolling stock electrical systems.
