An opportunity has arisen for a general admin assistant to join the Medical Escalation & Care of the Older Person teams at Blackpool Victoria Hospital.
The post holder will work with the Medical & Support Secretaries to provide comprehensive admin support to the consultants.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised individual who has excellent word processing / typing skills, knowledge of medical terminology, who is self-motivated and capable of using own initiative, comfortable with stand-alone working and has the ability to work accurately whilst meeting deadlines on a daily basis with a flexible approach to meet the needs of the medical teams.
The role also involves organising patient case notes coming back following discharge, collecting case notes from around the BTH site as required, actioning post, filing, typing from transcription, dealing with patient queries, communicating with staff across the trust and other general administrative tasks to support the associated medical teams.
