This period of expansion is a very exciting time for the company and we are looking to speak to applicants interested in joining us our production team as a
STORES /DISPATCH OPERATIVE.

As part of this exciting new chapter in Magnetic Shields progression, the
Stores /Dispatch Operative will join the existing team responsible for allocating materials, fixtures and fittings.

You will also be responsible for assisting process goods-in stock, helping with stocktake duties and moving materials/product between the production halls and assisting the packing department.

Key Tasks/Duties of this role:

Responsible for managing the inbound process of goods inwards
Ensure accurate stock systems records are maintained
Assisting with annual stock take
Issuing stock internally, whilst maintaining storage disciplines, systems and records
Packing of goods for shipment to customer sites
Checking each item when packing for any visual defects, and highlighting these defects to the Quality team
Following all packing instructions provided on the Works Order & following all relevant SOPs
Liaising with Despatch Department confirming order completion
Assisting team members with organising and maintaining stocks of packing materials

Essential Skills:

12 months transferable experience
Computer literate strong IT skills, ideally ERP system experience
Capable of effectively multitasking
Attention to detail essential
Team player possessing good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
Physically fit, due to the fact there is some lifting required in this role

Desirable Skills:

Worked within an ISO9001 environment
