Role Overview:


Are you ready to carve out a new path with us? McGee is expanding its concrete cutting operations, and we're on the lookout for a dynamic and skilled Concrete Cutting Supervisor to join our exceptional team.

Reporting to the Concrete Cutting Manager, this hands-on role involves coordinating cutting activities across multiple sites, leading a team of operatives, and ensuring projects are with safety, efficiency, and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead the charge in coordinating all concrete cutting activities, ensuring efficiency, safety, and toptier quality.
  • Dive into various concrete cutting tasks handson when needed.
  • Rally and inspire a small team of operatives.
  • Tackle challenges headon during concrete cutting tasks, finding solutions for seamless project flow.
  • Collaborate closely with the Concrete Cutting Manager and project managers to plan and schedule cutting activities.
  • Oversee a fleet of concrete cutting equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and promptly addressing maintenance or repair needs.
  • Enforce and maintain high standards of safety, conducting regular inspections to identify and address any issues promptly.

About You:


  • Proven track record in a similar role.
  • A maestro in operating and maintaining concrete cutting equipment.
  • Wellversed in a variety of cutting techniques and tools.
  • Strong leadership skills with effective communication abilities for team members and project stakeholders.

Qualifications:


  • Full NVQ Level 2 in Drilling and Sawing (Diamond Drilling, Handheld Drilling, Track Sawing, Floor Sawing, Handheld Sawing, Wire Sawing, Hydraulic Bursting)
  • Full Supervisors ticket
  • Brokk ticket
