    Salary: £49,125.64

    Working Hours: 35 hours per week

    Working Pattern: Monday to Friday – Hybrid

    Location: Speke, Liverpool

    You will be responsible for leading our Sales and New Business team, driving national sales service and ensuring annual goals are met. Additionally, you'll play a key role in contributing to the development of new products focused on low-cost home ownership and intermediate tenures.

  • Successful track record of sales & marketing of the Affordable Shared Ownership product within a Housing Association.
  • Experience of managing budgets.
  • Experience of successfully leading, managing and motivating teams, including
  • managing team performance.
  • In depth knowledge of industry legislations.

    Role Profile

  • Lead the Sales and New Business team to deliver a national sales service, regularly reviewing
  • progress to ensure the annual goals are met.
  • Lead on delivering Riverside's national Shared Ownership Affordable Homes Programme.
  • Lead on managing the risk of Riverside's national Shared Ownership Affordable Homes
  • programme and the sales exposure.
  • Complete comprehensive market research for all new schemes. Providing expert guidance to
  • senior stakeholders.
  • Create and deliver dynamic marketing plans and sales strategies to achieve Riverside's growth
  • ambitions to deliver new homes, ensuring sales and income targets are met.
  • Prepare and manage scheme marketing reviewing relevant budgets, ensuring expenditure is
  • robustly managed in line with the Group's financial controls.
  • Lead on developing and delivering services that fall outside Riverside's core landlord offer: for
  • example, intermediate market rent & market rent products.
  • Contribute to the new product development of low cost home ownership and intermediate
  • tenures.
  • Collect, analyse, and complete, annual customer profiling for all completed shared ownership
  • sales.
  • Lead the tenanted sale and re-sale activity working with a range of clients to maximise future
  • business prospects
  • Prepare reports for Riverside's governance structures: for example Group Board, Committees,
  • Executive Directors.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations / legislation, especially for the functional area of
  • responsibility.
  • This is a national role and will require the post holder to work weekends and evenings, which
  • will at times involve overnight stays.
  • Financial

  • During a typical year you will be responsible for c homes at different stage of sale, with
  • a capital cost of c£18-30m
  • Responsible for developing and financial budgets, including a marketing budget of c£2m
  • Person specification

    Essential

  • Successful track record of sales & marketing of the Affordable Shared Ownership
  • product within a Housing Association.
  • Experience of managing tenanted sales programmes, such as Right to Buy, Right to
  • Acquire & Social Homebuy.
  • Experience of managing re-sale activity.
  • Experience of managing budgets.
  • In depth knowledge of industry legislations
  • Ability to shape dynamic strategies for sales and marketing homes.
  • Ability to lead and foster collaboration to manage sales risk.
  • Experience of successfully leading, managing and motivating teams, including
  • managing team performance.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including ability to write governance
  • reports and strategic documents
  • Effective stakeholder management, both internally and external to the organisation,
  • including the ability to successfully persuade and influence others
  • Ability to manage competing commitments.
  • Competent at managing own learning and self-development and modelling this for
  • others.
  • Understanding of risk management
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft applications including Excel. Confident in learning and
  • maximising the use of in house bespoke applications.
  • Full driving licence and access to a car for business use

  • A post graduate qualification or degree
  • Understanding the context of social housing and the challenges it faces
  • Experience of sales & marketing within the commercial sector
  • Knowledge of industry schemes and market influences
  • Knowledge of HomeBuy Agency services
  • Knowledge of the mortgage market
  • Knowledge of Pamwin database or experience of dealing with an in-house financial
  • appraisal system
